How I Keep My Skin Hydrated On the Plane

Hidrate Spark water bottle

Pressurized air in the cabin is always kept at lower than 20% humidity. That’s the average humidity of the Sahara Desert! You lose about 8 ounces of water from your body every hour, so it’s crucial to keep hydrated. The Hidrate Spark bottle is a smart water bottle that is connected to an app on your phone. The app asks for your height and weight, and asks how active you are. It then calculates how much water you should be consuming in a day. The bottle illuminates to remind you to drink some water to meet the daily goal. When the beverage cart comes by, I just ask the flight attendant to fill up my Hidrate bottle with water.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream

I don’t like having make-up on my face on long flights. After I do my face routine in the bathroom (make up remover, face wash, toner, and acne solution), I lock everything in with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream moisturizer. A little goes a long way, but it keeps my face extra moisturized for those super long flights.

Whenever I wake up or I take a bathroom break, I spray the Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist on my face for a quick pick-me-up. I like that it’s a mist and doesn’t make your face too wet. Also, it smells amazing!

Laneige lip sleep mask

My lips get extremely dry during the day and when I sleep. To keep my lips from looking like Owens Lake, I apply Laneige Lip Mask to make sure my lips stay super soft when I wake up.
