Sometimes the best restaurants are found accidentally. While exploring downtown Philly with my cousin, we stumbled upon this gem, Nan Zhou Hand Drawn Noodle House. This restaurant is known for it’s hand drawn noodles, so the noodles are always fresh and chewy.
I love oxtail, so I had to order the oxtail noodle soup and it did not disappoint. The oxtail was fatty and tender, the broth was warm and savory, and the noodles were springy. Surprisingly, the best part was the pickled mustard greens on top.
I highly recommend making a stop at this restaurant if you are ever in Philly. It is soooo worth it! Just make sure you have cash since they are cash-only.
